Unique partner of AREAImpresa srl, owner of the 100% of the social capital is AREA SPA , a public corporation which manages the environmental hygiene services in the Eastern Province of Ferrara: a 1,500 sq. mts territory with 125,000 residents and a tourist flow equivalent to 40,000 inhabitants. AREA spa is a stock company (spa) total public capital, and partners owners are 18 Municipalities of the Province of FERRARA.
Set up in 1994 as a consortium of 6 municipalities and turned into a joint-stock company in April 2001, today AREA , throught AREAImpresa, manages the collection, reclaiming and disposal of urban waste, maintenance of the public green, Environmental Hygiene Rates, and represents a solid reality within the framework of local public services.
The prime objective of AREA and AREAImpresa is to supply up-to-date services fitting the requirements of both citizens and firms, providing the personal attention that only a well rooted company, really close to administration and clients can provide.
AREA has obtained the integrated Quality and Environment Certificate in accordance with UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 & 14001:2004.

The activity of AREAImpresa srl is the service of integrated cycle of the refusals produced by civil uses and handicraft, industrial and sanitary activity.
The integrated cycle of the refusals developed by AREAImpresa srl is constituted by different sectors in which to manage specific components of refusal, different for market characteristics and composition chemical-physics.

Integrated management of special and toxic-harmful urban waste; water cycle
- Planning of systems and methodologies for segregate collection
- Consulting on processing and treatment of waste, and disposal processes; planning and start-up of composting, sorting, stocking and disposal plants
- Studies and assistance for the security and regeneration of polluted sites
- Consulting on the management of water networks, planning, implementation, and management of purification and biological chemical-physical depuration

- Intermediation on municipal and special waste.
Management of medical waste
- planning, implementation and management of systems and technologies for the collection of clinical waste, consulting on the techniques for the processing and treatment of clinical waste and disposal processes;
- management of clinical waste by providing technical assistance to any agencies directly or indirectly involved, starting from health agencies and, more particularly, hospitals; management includes separate collections performed both to separate the scrap that can be used again in industrial processes (glass, paper, etc) and to remove remains of harmful waste, directing it to specific treatment (batteries, white heat light bulbs).
